About This Property

Own a piece of Southern Oregon History. Williams Creek Farm is a rare gem located in the heart of the beautiful and desirable Williams Valley. This 28+ acre Certified Organic farm is a private sanctuary on the main-stem of Williams Creek. A unique combination of 17 fenced and irrigated acres surrounded by Old-growth riparian trees make this a one of a kind homestead.

Williams Creek Farm has a multitude of features such as a cozy 1,200 sq ft home, a 2,100 sq ft Agriculture building with attached greenhouse, a 20ft diameter Sugar Pine yurt, detached 576 sq ft studio, 3 40' greenhouses, a hand built stone masonry pizza oven and a shade pavilion in the Cottonwood allee.

With views of Greyback Mountain, the farm boasts: Class One loam soils, three certified Water Rights, including a 50 GPM well and complete turn-key, underground irrigation system installed.

The infrastructure plus the productive soils will support a myriad of business or lifestyle plans and the homestead of your dreams.

The land has been farmed for over 35 years and is the second oldest Certified organic farm in the entire Rogue Valley. The soils are Class One Loams that have been enriched-with cover-cropping, crop rotation, low-to-no-till, and on-farm compost that is added-back to the soil. Mature, multi-story and multi-species hedgerows complete the healthy farm ecosystem. Apple, Persimmon and Medlar fruit trees are interspersed in the mature native and medicinal plant landscaping. Additionally, there is a large and diverse tree and shrub seed repository that could support a native plant nursery.

Williams Creek Farm is a rare low-elevation riparian ecosystem, with incredible plant diversity. The property borders both sides of the main stem of Williams Creek. This section of creek is designated as “core” endangered Salmonid habitat, the most important Salmon habitat in the region. There are old-growth Ash and Big-Leaf Maple trees along the riparian corridors and mature Alder and Cottonwood are the tree canopy along Williams Creek. In the understory of the forests there is a diversity of mature, native shrubs and rare herbaceous plants such-as Trillium. Decades of conservation strategies have been employed in these Riparian forests, with fuels-reduction work and the replanting of hundreds of trees and shrubs, some of which are now 80’ tall. Grants from the Williams Creek Watershed Council are regularly awarded to this important sanctuary for continued conservation work. There is a beautiful meandering path from the farm to the main-stem of Williams Creek, passing through towering trees to the waterfront. Williams Creek Farm is a rare Salmon, plant and bird sanctuary that seeks its next land steward.

Live Water: With nearly 1,000 feet of Williams Creek frontage, the land encompasses both sides of the creek with a robust riparian zone for privacy and seclusion. The health of this creek and riparian corridor is unparalleled and creates critical Salmon, bird and wildlife habitat in one of the most intact stream reaches in SW Oregon.
